The Democrats have gotten just what they wanted — a perfect Democratic storm; the presidency, a solid majority in the House, and very close to a filibuster-proof Senate (all that they need is a couple of linguini-spined Republicans, and those shouldn’t be hard to pick up). I cannot begin to tell you what this will mean to America’s future, but I’ll try. Will it mean the end of America? Very possibly — if not sooner, almost assuredly later. But I get ahead of myself.
